However, throughout the doctoral journey, researchers acquire essential skills for their careers after the obtention of the PhD! During the workshop, participants will dig into their own path before, during and after the doctorate in order to build their individual portfolios and create content ready for online profiles, job applications and hiring interviews for roles beyond academia.
The workshop is organised as a one-day training session followed by a 30-minute private consultation with Dr Joëlle Bédat.

A preparatory assignment (1-2 hours) is required. You will receive further informations some weeks before the workshop.

  • Have used the Knowledge-In-Context Canvas to articulate their key experiences as well as analyze a job advertisement in order to get prepared for a job interview.
  • Have identified different job goal strategies.
