In the realm of academic research, effective collaboration within groups and teams is paramount for innovation and success. This workshop aims to delve into the intricacies of group and team dynamics, providing PhD candidates with the tools and strategies necessary to navigate and enhance their collaborative efforts during their PhD journey and beyond.

Participants will:
• Explore key concepts such as communication, conflict resolution, diversity, and leadership within team and group settings
• Gain insights into fostering a productive and stimulating team environment, through interactive discussions and participant examples
• Develop practical strategies to improve collaboration and optimize group dynamics in research settings.

This workshop is designed to be highly interactive, encouraging participants to engage with the material and each other.

 

PhD candidates who have at least 1 year of experience working in group and team settings will probably benefit most.

Trainer:

Tanja Wranik advises academic and non-academic organizations and institutions on strategic organizational development and workplace health promotion topics and teaches at several universities and business schools. She has implemented prevention, development, and transformation projects in a wide range of industries and organizations and worked with leaders and teams from over 70 nations.

Her academic qualifications include a PhD (Bucknell University, USA; University of Geneva, Switzerland), a postdoctoral specialization in behavioral economics and finance (Yale University, USA), and a certificate in Mastering Board Governance (IMD, Switzerland). In addition, she is a Certified Systemic Leadership and Team Coach and Supervisor, PCC, ICF; EMCC, SP. She works in English, German, and French.
