All your reimbursement requests must now be submitted online. You can access them from your profile page: myCUSO/Profile/Travel Cost. Once we will open the access to the reimbursement, you will receive a message. You can find the instructions online: please follow them carefully! Please note that we will provide refunds according to the signatures on the list of attendance.
No. Under CUSO rules, we are only able to reimburse extraordinary travel costs between the city of your university and that of the workshop, on the basis that you are travelling outside of your university city. This is on the principle that anyone registered in one city’s university (e.g. UNIL) and living in another city (e.g. Bern) would ordinarily have this travel cost.
The amount of your travel expenses will include a Swiss rail ticket (half-fare return, 2nd class) between the city of your university and the city where the workshop takes place, on condition that the latter is held outside the area of your institution. Public transport services (half-fare) will be refunded only in the city where the workshop takes place - on condition that the latter is held outside the area of your institution. Please note that we do not refund public transport in Neuchâtel, since the university is very close to the train station (about 10 minutes by walk).
As of Jan. 1, 2018, and following a decision by the CUSO universities, new management guidelines come into force. Please note that lunch will no longer be reimbursed by the Transversal Programme from 1 Juanuary 2018. The training courses will continue to take place at university sites and close to cafeterias. Consequently, there should not be an additional cost compared to the usual expense of a participant’s standard working day.
