Across Disciplines: An Interdisciplinary Research Communication Retreat

Step away from everyday academic routine for an immersive weekend in Leysin, in the Swiss Alps, and explore your research through the perspectives of doctoral researchers from other disciplines.
Present your work, test new ways of making it resonate outside your own field, exchange feedback and discover what different disciplinary perspectives can bring to your research. A small group, two experienced facilitators, an exclusive venue, shared meals and informal conversations are all an integral part of this interdisciplinary learning experience.

What we offer:
- An inspiring environment for working, exchanging ideas and connecting with researchers from other disciplines
- Two nights' accommodation at Vermont Hub (shared double rooms)

Please note that travel expenses will not be reimbursed
Target audience:
The retreat is open to doctoral candidates from all disciplines and all CUSO member programs, at any stage of their PhD.
As places are limited, participants will be selected with the aim of creating a group with the greatest possible disciplinary diversity. We will also take into account your motivation for joining the retreat.
