With supervisors, research partners, funding organizations, or supporting staff: most PhD students negotiate several times a week. This course is about how your negotiations can become more successful – and less stressful. Using practical exercises, reflection, and evidence-informed theory, you develop skills for creating and claiming value in negotiations. Preparing the transfer of these skills from the classroom to the real world, you also explore a concept for negotiation mindset development.

Trainer :

Dr. Valentin Ade is a negotiation trainer and coach. He teaches negotiation skills for the
United Nations, government agencies, politicians, and a wide range of businesses. Also,
leads negotiation courses at various academic institutions, including the University of St.
Gallen, University Luzern, and Sciences Po Paris. Val is founder of The Negotiation
Studio (www.negotiationstudio.com).
Val holds a psychology PhD on negotiation training effectiveness from the University of
Lüneburg. He also received a joint MSc in Management from ESCP Europe (Paris) and TU
Berlin, and a BA in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen.

 

Frais

Participants are eligible for reimbursement of incurred travel expenses by train between the city of their university and the location of the workshop (half-fare card, 2nd class).
